Leader emerges for Dunston

Zach Dunston currently holds four offers from Louisville, Temple, Kent State and Marshall. A 6-2, 190-pound cornerback from Virginia Beach, Va., Dunston is favoring Louisville and Marshall. One of those programs has emerged as Dunston's overall favorite.

It's been a quiet summer for Zachary Dunston but the recruiting heat should heat up for the talented defensive back this fall.

"I haven't taken any visits this summer and I'm not sure if I will or not," said Zachary Dunston. " We've been doing passing leagues this summer and that's going well."

On the recruiting front, Dunston holds four offers from Temple, Louisville, Marshall and Kent State. Though Louisville was first to offer the Virginia Beach cornerback, Dunston said the coaching staff at Temple is recruiting him the hardest at the moment. "I've got an offer from them," said Dunston of the Temple Owls. "But I haven't got into looking at the schools yet really."

While Temple is working on Dunston the hardest, Louisville and Marshall lead the pack. "They're (both) still at the top of my list," Dunston said. "I like Marshall because they're coach really seems interested in helping me with my academics. That's probably my top school."

Dunston said he's not planning to make a college decision soon. He hasn't made any visits this summer and likely won't until the fall. Dunston keeps in frequent contact with Louisville defensive back coach Larry Slade and says he's very interested in what the Cardinals can offer him.

"I call Coach Slade at Louisville every week," Dunston said. "I like Louisville a lot and I need to make a visit there."
