Weekend visitors

This weekends list includes the trio from Los Angeles, receivers Antwaun Giddens and B.J. Vickers and quarterback Eddie Miller.

QB Eddie Miller

Venice Senior HS (Los Angeles)
Miller is one of three players visiting from Venice Senior High School in Los Angeles this weekend. He is an outstanding passing quarterback who has a very strong arm and makes big plays. He recently played in the CaliFlorida All-Star game. He is a two-time All-City selection. As a starter the past two seasons, Miller has completed 70% of his attempts, throwing for 7,423-yards, 72 touchdowns and just 23 interceptions. His favorites are Louisville, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Hawaii and Tennessee.

WR B.J. Vickers
6'3, 205
Venice Senior HS (Los Angeles)
Vickers is an electrifying and powerful receiver who has pulled in 165 receptions for 3,480 yards and 25 touchdowns over the last three seasons. He's been compared to San Fransisco 49er's receiver Terrell Owens and is described as a receiver that is very tough to tackle. He is also a very dangerous kick-returner, scoring three touchdowns on returns this past season. He participated in the CaliFlorida All-Star game and was a CalHiSports.com 1st team All-State selection. Vickers was also named the Los Angeles Offensive Player of the Year. His current favorites are Louisville, Mississippi State, Oregon and Tennessee.

WR Antwaun Giddens
6'4, 200
Venice Senior HS (Los Angeles)
Giddens missed his junior season, but he exploded this year as a senior, with 53 receptions for 1,082-yards and 9 touchdowns. He could be one of the top wide receivers in the country. Like Miller and Vickers, Giddens also played in this years CaliFlorida All-Star game. He was named 1st team All-City following his senior campaign. His favorites are Louisville, Oregon State, Arizona State, Cincinnati and Hawaii.

DB Justin Williams
6'2, 180
Los Banos HS (CA)
Williams is a quick defensive back, with a reported 40 time of 4.3. Following the 2002 season, Williams was named 1st team All Valley Oak League for defensive back and 2nd team All Valley Oak League for receiver. His father is graduate of Louisville Eastern and they still have family in the Louisville area. He is receiving interest from Boise State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Marshall, Michigan State, Oregon State and others.

TE Thomas Boyce
6'6, 210
Dacula HS (Dacula, GA)
Boyce is a both a great blocking and pass catching tight end. He has a knack for being able to pull in difficult passes across the middle. He has visited Ohio University and will also make a visit to Baylor, both of whom have offered. Louisville has offered Boyce as well.

WR Eric Marshall
6'2, 190
Eupora HS (Eupora, MS)
Marshall is one of two players from Eupora High School visiting the U of L campus this weekend. He had over 1,000-yards receiving this year, 19 of which went for touchdowns. He was being recruited by new head coach Bobby Petrino while at Auburn. He has yet to become fully qualified, however Marshall and Memphis have both offered. He is also receiving interest from Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

QB Reggie Ball
6'0, 180
Stephenson HS (Stone Mountain, GA)
Ball has dual-threat quarterback that has all ready verbally committed to Georgia Tech, but is still planning on taking additional visits. He threw for over 2000 yards with 18 TDs and only 2 interceptions as a senior.

CB Early McCray III
5'11, 175
Coffee Co HS (Douglas, GA)
A speedy cornerback from South Georgia. McCray is also physical and has good fundamentals. Has run a 10.47 100 meters this track season and 22.1 200 meters. One of the South's fastest prospects. 65 tackles, 3 caused fumbles and one interception as a junior.
