Cardinals land California quarterback

ITV has confirmed that QB Eddie Miller of Venice Senior High School in Los Angeles has committed to play for Louisville.

InsidetheVille.com has learned that quarterback Eddie Miller spoke with Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino on Monday to inform him that he has decided to become a Cardinal.

The phone call came shortly after Miller, along with two other Cardinal prospects, receivers B.J. Vickers, who lives with the Miller family, and Antwuan Giddens, met with new U of L linebackers coach Kevin Wolthausen. All three are making official visits to U of L this weekend.

The three players are extremely close friends and many expect that they will all commit to play for the same program.

Miller is a two-time All-City selection and recently participated in the CaliFlorida All-Star game. As a starter the past two seasons, Miller has completed 70% of his attempts, throwing for 7,423-yards, 72 touchdowns and just 23 interceptions.

TheInsiders.com Recruiting analysts rate the three high school seniors all as 3-star prospects.

He chose Louisville over offers from Mississippi State, Cincinnati and Hawaii.

Stay tuned to ITV for more on this commitment, as well as future announcements.
