Change of plans for Swift?

Terrance Swift, a two-star offensive lineman from Fairfield (AL) HS, had planned to make an official visit to Louisville this Friday to see the Cardinals open Big East play against Pittsburgh. Is the 6'5, 320-pound Swift still visiting the Cardinals this weekend?

Terrance Swift originally planned to make an official visit to Louisville this Friday to watch the Cardinals take on Pittsburgh. But the two-star offensive lineman has decided to put off his visit to Louisville.

"I'm not going this week and I'm not sure when I'm going to go up there," Swift said.

Swift made an unofficial visit to Louisville over the summer and told that the Cardinals were at the top of his list in August. However, Swift declined to name a favorite when asked this week.

"I really don't have a leader," Swift said. "I'm just taking it day to day."

Swift said he still stays in frequent contact with Louisville defensive coordinator Brent Guy, his recruiting contact with the Cardinals.

"I talk to them on a weekly basis," said Swift. "The last time we talked he was telling me about their game against Kentucky and how they're trying to get better. He also asked when I'm going to go up their for my visit. It depends on how my season goes. I really don't know when I'll take my official visit. It could be in November or after the season."

Swift recently went on an official visit to Southern Mississippi and said the Golden Eagles are moving up his list.

"I went to Southern Miss the weekend they played Virginia," Swift said. "It went pretty good. I liked it. Their fans are very spirited. Everyone was wearing black and gold. I spoke with the head coach, Coach Fedora. It was a nice visit."

Swift also picked up a recent offer from Arkansas State and has a few more schools considering offering him a scholarship.

"Arkansas State came to our game a week ago," Swift said. "I'm glad they offered. I want to get a lot of offers. South Alabama and UAB are also talking about making an offer."
