Football visitors see UL's first Big East win

Louisville hosted several football prospects for their win over Syracuse Saturday afternoon at PJCS, including two massive defensive linemen and defensive back Chris Sharpe.

Louisville hosted about 30 visitors Saturday for their win over Syracuse. It's believed most were of the unofficial visitor variety, but there were some notable prospects at the game against the Orange.

Here are a few of the prospects on campus:

Chris Sharpe, a former ECU commit. Sharpe visited Louisville late this summer and made a return visit Saturday. Sharpe is a two-star defensive back who also holds offers from Kentucky and East Carolina. Sharpe is rated the #135 cornerback in the country.

Anthony Render, a 6'1, 325-pounder from Trotwood-Madison, OH, made a visit Saturday. Render attends the same high school as current UofL player CJ Peake. Render is a teammate of Cardinals commitment Jordan Paschal.
