Ofori ready for off-season

Scout.com talked with 2010 prospect Axel Ofori from Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, MD. The talented athlete is up to four offers now and is getting ready for his last game before college.

Axel Ofori missed some games this season with a minor knee injury but is healed now and looking forward to playing in the Maryland Crab Bowl (statewide all-star game). He also has several visits to take and is looking forward to the rest of the recruiting process.

"We had an okay season," said Ofori. "I missed a few games with a knee injury but everything is fine now. I start practicing for the Crab Bowl in about a month and that will be a great time. I am looking forward to the game."

Ofori has offers from Louisville, New Hampshire, Monmouth and Tennessee State. Just because Louisville is a FBS school it doesn't mean the other schools don't have a chance. "I will choose the school that is best for me. It doesn't matter the size or the level it just has to be the right fit. I haven't decided which schools I will visit yet. I will probably go to Louisville and will wait and see what the other schools say that have asked for my film. The schools I hear the most from are Connecticut, Miami (Oh) and Temple."

Ofori finished the season with 50 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 7 passes broken up and an interception.
