Maxiell averaged 22.5 points and shot 62 percent from the field and 70 percent at the charity stripe in two games last week. He scored a career-high 24 points to lead Cincinnati's upset of No. 11 Oklahoma State on Sunday. The 6-7 sophomore connected on 10-of-15 from the field, the third time this season that Maxiell has made 10 shots in a game. He also grabbed three rebounds and blocked two shots. In last Wednesday's six-point loss at No. 5 Louisville, Maxiell tallied his fourth double-double of the season with a 21-point, 10-rebound effort.
