Garcia averaged 19 points, five rebounds and three assists as Louisville won a pair of C-USA games to stretch its winning streak to 17 games, the nation's longest. He contributed a career-high 23 points, three assists and two blocked shots off the bench against Cincinnati, tying a Conference USA and school record with eight three-point field goals against the Bearcats on Feb. 5. Garcia followed that with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in an 81-55 win at Houston on Saturday. He ranks among the league leaders in three-point field goals percentage (.418) and blocked shots (30).

Jason Maxiell

Maxiell averaged 22.5 points and shot 62 percent from the field and 70 percent at the charity stripe in two games last week. He scored a career-high 24 points to lead Cincinnati's upset of No. 11 Oklahoma State on Sunday. The 6-7 sophomore connected on 10-of-15 from the field, the third time this season that Maxiell has made 10 shots in a game. He also grabbed three rebounds and blocked two shots. In last Wednesday's six-point loss at No. 5 Louisville, Maxiell tallied his fourth double-double of the season with a 21-point, 10-rebound effort.
