The Cardinals landed at least three commitments from players who visited campus on official visits this weekend.
Sunday, Charlie Strong landed another huge commitment from Torrian Wilson, a 6'4, 310-pound offensive lineman from Miami Northwestern. Wilson told InsideTheVille.com Monday that he called the Louisville coaches Sunday and committed to the Cardinals.
"He called me today and asked for the number for the Louisville coaching staff," one of Wilson's high school teammates that has committed to Louisville told InsideTheVille.com. "He said he was going to call them and commit. It's huge news for us."
A three-star prospect rated the No. 19 offensive guard in the nation, Wilson is the third player from Northwestern to commit to Louisville in the past few weeks, joining four-star wide receiver Michaelee Harris and running back Corvin Lamb.
"He [Strong] was telling me that they want me in the program and that they could use a guy like me. They're looking at me as a guard," Wilson told InsideTheVille.com last week. "I told him that Louisville is in my top [list] right now..."
Harris, Lamb, Wilson and another teammate, defensive tackle Todd Chandler visited Louisville last weekend.
