"I feel real good about the visit," Dixon said. "The coaching staff is great. Charlie Strong is a really cool guy. He's straight forward and he's a nice guy. He's a coach I want to play for. I'm still pretty set on going there."
While Dixon is pretty solid with his commitment to Louisville, he's planning to visit Memphis this week.
"Everything will be set and finalized Feb. 3," Dixon said. "We'll see what happens. I'm not sure if I'm taking other visits. I'm thinking about Memphis because of Coach Hobson. He went there from Michigan and he made it clear he wanted me to go there."
Louisville hosted another Cincinnati linebacker prospect this weekend, three-star Northwest HS standout Preston Brown. Brown is committed to Cincinnati but is considering Louisville after Brian Kelly left for Notre Dame.
"Me and Preston have known each other since kindergarten," Dixon said. "He liked Louisville but we didn't really talk about his decision or where he's going to go. He said he's going to let it play out until the end."
