"It was fun coming for the visit," Acosta said. "It was a blast. It's a nice campus and they treat you great in Louisville. It's a different pace than Miami. And Coach Strong is going to get it right up here. The whole coaching staff are great people and they know what it takes to win."
Acosta committed to Louisville last week. He said his official visit to Louisville this weekend definitely convinced him that he has made the right decision to play for the Cardinals. While on his visit, Acosta got a taste of what it's like to play for the Cardinals when he got to put on a jersey in UofL's locker room.
"The visit definitely [solidified] my decision," Acosta said. "I'm officially a Cardinal. I just pictured my next four or five years here when I put on that jersey. "
Acosta was hosted by Kamran Joyer, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Tampa. "They showed us a real good time. We felt like we were a part of the team already," Acosta said. "The people are nice here and they really treat you great.
