McDonald's All-American Top 100 Finalists

The official list of the Top 100 finalists for the McDonald's All-American game have been announced.

Louisville commitment guard Brandon Jenkins of Detroit Southeastern High School is among the Top 100 finalists for the 2003 McDonald's All-American Team. Jenkins could become the 15th Cardinal in history to be honored as a McDonald's All-American.

Another player that the Cardinals hope to receive a firm commitment from is also among the finalists. Center James Lang of Central Park High School in Birmingham, Ala., who will be playing in Louisville this weekend, has made the cut.

Louisville's previous fourteen McDonald's All-Americans are: Jerry Eaves (1978), Pervis Ellison (1985), Manual Forest (1981), Jerome Harmon (1987), Carlos Hurt (2001), Tony Kimbro (1985), Scooter McCray (1978), Dwayne Morton (1990), Jason Osborne (1993), Cliff Rozier (1990), LaBradford Smith (1987), Billy Thompson (1982), Milt Wagner (1981) and Kevin Walls (1984).

The 2003 McDonald's All American Team will be officially announced on February 27th at 6:00 p.m. EST on ESPN SportsCenter, but the following is the official list of the Top 100 finalists for the game. Over 2,500 high school seniors nationwide were nominated for the event.
