Pitino continues pursuit of Teague

Rick Pitino continues his dogged pursuit of Marquis Teague. The Louisville coach made a recruiting visit to watch Scout.com's No. 1 2011 point guard earlier this week. And despite a loss, Teague had a big game with Pitino watching from the stands.

In between Louisville's thrilling wins over Syracuse and Notre Dame, Rick Pitino managed to sneak in a visit to Indianapolis to watch his No. 1 2011 recruiting target - Marquis Teague - play Tuesday night.

While his Indianapolis (IN) Pike team lost 66-57 to Hamilton (IN) Southeastern, Teague was sensational during a furious second half rally.

Down 17-points in the third quarter, Teague went to work. The 6-foot-2 point guard scored 21 of his 25 points after the break, making 8 of 10 shots in the second half, including a pair of three's to narrow the deficit to three in the closing minutes.

Teague, who made another unofficial visit to Louisville two weeks ago, was supposed to visit Kentucky last weekend but canceled the trip. He still hasn't visited the Wildcats since adding John Calipari's program to his list last summer.

Teague is considering Louisville, Indiana, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Purdue and Ohio State and told InsideTheVille.com earlier this month that he plans to make a decision after his junior season.
