Louisville offers talented Indianapolis trio

Louisville has been active recruiting Florida this spring, but Charlie Strong just send offers to a trio of teammates from Indianapolis Warren Central, including a pair of four-star prospects. One of the prospects, safety Nick Temple, spoke with InsideTheVille.com about the Cardinals.

Louisville offered three players from Indianapolis Warren Central this week, including 5-10, 200-pound safety Nick Temple.

Temple, who helped lead Warren Central to the Indiana state title last season, recorded 135 tackles as a junior. He told InsideTheVille.com Monday night that he's happy the Cardinals sent an offer.

"I'm real glad," Temple said. "I don't know that much about the school, but I was real glad when I found out about the offer. I know some people that went to Louisville. They have great academics and a winning program but I haven't met the coaching staff yet."

Temple plans to visit Iowa, Louisville, Arkansas, Illinois, Michigan, Cincinnati, Purdue and West Virginia this spring. He currently has picked up three offers from Iowa, Louisville and Ball State.

"Iowa and Louisville standout," Temple said. "They're good programs and have great academics."

Louisville also offered two of Temple's teammates. Kris Harley, a defensive lineman, and Kiaro Holts, an offensive lineman, both received offers from the Cardinals. Harley and Holts are both four-star recruits.

Harley is rated the No. 7 defensive tackle in the nation. Holts is also rated the No. 7 prospect nationally at his position.
