A couple of weeks ago he picked one up from Louisville, and had nothing but good things to say about the Cardinals.
"I know they got Coach [Charlie] Strong, and that he's trying to build a good team. I have a good relationship with Coach [Vance] Bedford. He told me that they are looking for some DB's, and that I would have a chance to start right away which is a huge plus on my side. Other than that it's just a great town, great lifestyle."
Aside from Strong and Bedford, UofL assistants Kenny Carter and Ron Dugans have also been in contact with the 2011 standout. He made note that he and Carter were pretty good friends.
As far as visits, he's made a couple to the Florida schools. "I've been to Florida a couple of times. I've made it to Miami one or two times, and then I've been to Florida State three or four times."
He also may be on campus later this month for Louisville's Junior day.
"Louisville, I want to get up there as soon as I can. [I've] been trying to get in touch with the coaches," said Waisome. "I think their junior day is March [27th]. I'm going to try and make it up to that. Stanford also at some point, it all basically depends on my parent's budget."
As a junior, Waisome registered 67 tackles and 18 pass breakups. He was selected to the first team All State for 6A classification and first team All Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel.
