UofL hosts talented recruits for spring game

Louisville hosted several impressive recruits during Friday nights spring game, including a trio of talented prospects from Florida and one of the best linebackers from Alabama. InsideTheVille.com has the scoop on Louisville's spring game visitors.

Deon Lee – The 6'4, 210-pound defensive end from Defuniak Springs (FL) Walton made the trip the north to check out the Cardinals. Lee is an impressive recruit who has offers from Michigan, South Carolina, South Florida, Texas Tech, Wisconsin and others. Reportedly, South Carolina and Louisville are his top two schools.

James Elliot – A 6'3, 290-pound offensive lineman from Pensacola (FL) Catholic is one of the top lineman in Florida. He holds offers from Texas Tech, South Alabama, FIU and Buffalo.

Damarius Rancifer – A teammate of Elliot, Rancifer is a relative of UofL strength coach Pat Moorer. A 6'2, 210-pound linebacker, Rancifer has offers from Texas Tech, Maryland and West Virginia.

Lamar Dawson - The three-star Danville linebacker made an appearance at Louisville's spring game. One of the top prospects in Kentucky, Dawson is a key in-state target for the Cardinals. He holds several offers, including from Kentucky and Stanford.

Xavier Sharpe – An underrated 6'2, 200-pound running back from Griffen, Ga., Sharpe recently gained an offer the Cardinals.

Robert Terrell – Louisville has been trying to get Terrell on campus this spring and finally got him in for the spring game. The 6'1, 240-pound linebacker is receiving strong interest from several SEC programs.

Eric Robinson-Berry – Berry committed to Louisville last Friday and brought several teammates down from Indianapolis with him to watch UofL's spring game, including a pair of 2012 stars.

Sheldon Day – Louisville hosted Day, an elite 2012 defensive lineman from Indianapolis Warren Central. Day, 6'1, 250, is a teammate of Louisville commit Eric Robinson-Berry.

Jordan Wallace – Wallace, a 2012 linebacker, teams with Robinson-Berry and Day. The 6'0, 210-pound prospect is receiving interest from Ohio State, Cincinnati, Purdue, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

John Wallace – Wallace, a kicker from Elizabethtown, received an offer during Louisville's junior and came back to check out the Cardinals spring game. Wallace is considered one of the top specialists in the south.

Louisville signees Stephon Robinson, Brandon Dunn, Preston Brown, Corvin Lamb, Michaelee Harris, Lacy Coleman were also in attendance, as were 2011 commitments Jerrell Moore, Jalen Harrington, Jamon Brown and DeVante Parker.
