"I just went for a one-day camp but I liked it a lot," May said. "They were one of the first schools recruiting me and I wanted to see how it was on campus. I worked out with Coach [Vance] Bedford. He showed me some things and gave me tips on how to break to the ball. I learned a lot from what he taught me."
May picked up his initial scholarship offer from Northern Illinois last month. Since then, Southern Miss and Kentucky have also offered the talented corner. Louisville told him they wanted to see him at camp before they made an offer. After attending Louisville's camp Monday, May believes the Cardinals might offer soon.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound two-star recruit told Scout.com this month that he was favoring Ole Miss, where he attended camp last week, and Kentucky. It appears May's visit with the Cardinals has changed his list of favorites.
"They're real close to making an offer," May said. "They said I might [receive] one next week. I like them. Right now they're like up there. Out of all the schools I really connected with them. I'll probably be going there but I don't know yet."
May said he's going to attend Tennessee's camp on June 20.
