Seneca QB DaMarcus Smith led his team to a big win over Central in his return from a knee injury Friday night in the season-opener.

Smith, who told reporters after the game that he would remain "loyal" to his commitment to Louisville, completed 11 of 21 passes for 204 yards and one touchdown. He also carried four times for 18 yards, showing good mobility and speed outside the pocket.

A little rusty in the first half - Smith threw an interception and lost a fumble - Smith bounced back to lead Seneca to a 47-32 victory. He threw a 67-yard touchdown pass on the second play from scrimmage.
