LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Due to the timing requirements of meeting the matriculation deadline for graduate school, former University of Memphis guard Roburt Sallie will not be attending the University of Louisville.

"We are disappointed for both Robert and our program that he could not meet our admission requirements in time"," said U of L Coach Rick Pitino. "We wish him the best in finding an avenue to reach his goals."

Justin Coleman could be headed to Marshall as a Prop 48 candidate.
Sallie, who had signed a financial aid agreement with U of L in June, played the last two seasons at Memphis, where he averaged 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists last year.

In addition, signee Justin Coleman did not meet NCAA freshman admission requirements to join the Cardinals. Coleman averaged 20.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a senior last season at Huntington Prep.

U of L will open its 2010-11 season against NCAA runner-up Butler on Nov. 16 in its inaugural game in the new 22,000-seat KFC Yum! Center, the Cardinals' new home which overlooks the Ohio River in downtown Louisville.
