Chane Behanan, one of the nation's top 2011 forward prospects, is back in Bowling Green, Ky., after making an official visit to Louisville this weekend.

Now, the four-star Scout.com prospect is thinking hard about making a big decision about his future. Behenan has turned off his cell phone. The frontrunner for Kentucky Mr. Basketball and his mother are in the process of sorting out all the information they learned from Rick Pitino's staff over the weekend and are trying to decide if they're ready to make a verbal commitment to the Cardinals.

Chane Behanan is ready to make a college decision. He'll announce his choice Tuesday morning at his HS.
"I think him and his mom are holed up a little bit and going over [the visit] and seeing if they want to announce or not," Behanan's high school coach D.G. Sherrill told InsideTheVille.com Sunday afternoon. "I think that's where they're at right now. They called me and told me they wanted me to give them a shout later, that they were going to talk about the visit. I told them I'd give them a little time and call them back this evening and we'll go from there."

Scout.com recruiting analyst Evan Daniels reported Sunday morning on InsideTheVille.com's premium recruiting forum that Louisville has emerged as the leader for Behanan's services. Is that accurate?

"I don't know, man, are you trying to get me to say that?," Sherrill said laughing. "I'm not going to go on record with that. That's something they probably need to say. Obviously, Louisville is a strong program for him and they've done a great job presenting their program. I think it's up to him and his mom what decision they want to make."

How would Sherrill classify Behanan's official visit to UofL this weekend?

"I think they had a really nice visit," Sherrill said. "Louisville did a great job kind of entertaining Chane and showing him their program. They got a chance to spend a lot of time with the team and time around the coaches. I think he learned what he needed to know about the Louisville basketball program."

Behanan has an official visit tentatively set for Ohio State next weekend.

"Louisville is a program he wanted to look at and get some answers to his questions and see how he'd fit," Sherrill said. "I think he's done some of those things."
