"I had fun," Bello told InsideTheVille.com. "I got to hang out with the guys, we went to the football game and I got to meet with Coach [Rick] Pitino. I just had fun on the visit."
What was Pitino's sales pitch to Bello?
"He was telling me how I would fit into his style of play and the school," Bello said. "We had a good conversation. I just had a good time with those people."
Louisville rolled out the red carpet treatment for Bello, and fellow visitors Quincy Miller, Chane Behanan and Josiah Turner. Part of Bello's visit included an exclusive tour of Louisville's brand-new 22,000-seat arena. While the Yum! Arena might not be a major factor in Bello's decision, it doesn't hurt Louisville's chances either.
Bello also got a taste of Louisville's fan support at Saturday's football game between the Cardinals and rival Kentucky.
"The fans are crazy and they make you feel like you're at home," Bello said. "They showed us a lot of love."
Bello enjoyed being part of Louisville's big recruiting weekend and getting to hang out with the Cardinals other priority 2011 prospects.
"I knew those guys before [the visit] and we had fun together - me, Chane, Zach [Price] and Josiah [Turner]," Bello said. "We had fun together."
Bello told InsideTheVille.com last week that he might commit on his visit to Louisville if everything "felt right." While he didn't commit to Pitino on the visit, Bello said he's going to discuss his options with his family and recruiting advisors this week.
"I'm going to talk about with my mom and [inner] circle," said Bello. "We've still got to look at a couple of things. Louisville, even if I didn't commit on the visit, is still in the picture. My mother just has some things she wants to talk with me and my circle about."
Bello's mom also visited Louisville this weekend. What was her impression of UofL?
"She liked everything about Louisville," Bello said.
Now that Bello has finished up his visit, the athletic forward isn't sure what his next step will be. He could make another visit before deciding but has no other visits scheduled now.
"That's something I have to talk with my [inner] circle about," Bello said.
InsideTheVille.com learned Sunday morning that Bello might visit Baylor before announcing his decision. It sounds like the Bears are the only other school in the picture at the moment.
"It's a possibility," Bello admitted.
As for a time-frame for his college decision, Bello said, "It's wait and see."
