Tyson Jackson profile
TR: How does it feel now that you made your decision on where you want to play your college football?
Jackson: It feels great. I liked the experience of being at LSU. I talked it over with my mom and my brother, and I just knew I wanted to be a Tiger. So, I decided to commit early.
TR: Have you ever been to a game at Tiger Stadium?
Jackson: I went to one last year for the South Carolina game.
TR: What was your impression of Tiger Stadium?
Jackson: I liked it very much. It was exciting. I felt like it was a good place for me to end up.
TR: What other schools were you seriously considering?
Jackson: UCLA, Florida, Florida State and Auburn.
TR: How much of a factor did Quinn's decision play on you?
Jackson: That didn't play too much of a factor. I just made up my own mind, but his decision had a little impact on me.
TR: Is LSU looking at you more on the offensive side of the ball or on the defensive side?
Jackson: More as a defensive lineman.
TR: What are your strengths on defense?
Jackson: My speed, size and my ability to get past the offensive tackle. My long arms also give me a big advantage.
