Louisiana has several difference makers on the defensive side of the ball in the 2012 class and one is the 27th ranked defensive end in the country in Denzell Devall of Bastrop, La.
Devall, a 6-foot-2, 245-pounder, was a versatile player coming off the edge as a junior. He played standing up and also put his hand on the ground for the Rams and finished the campaign with 88 tackles and four sacks, and he also picked off a pass and forced a pair of fumbles and recovered two more.
TigerSportsDigest.com cut up some clips of Devall against Rayville last season and against the Hornets he finished with five stops, 1.5 sacks, and had numerous quarterback hurries. He showed good explosion coming off the snap and moved very well laterally for someone his size.
Devall has offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Alabama and many others and he shows why in these clips from the 2010 season.
