LSU offers Alabama D-lineman

David Brown is one of the top defensive line prospects in the state of Alabama this season, and he has the offer list to prove it.

Brown is an excellent student that sports a 3.8 GPA, and he scored 23 on his first attempt on the ACT. His combination of physical prowess, at 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds with a 4.8 forty, and scholastic excellence have earned him offers from Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, LSU, and Stanford already.

Does that mean he has any favorites?

"My dad is in the Army," said Brown. "We've moved around a lot, so I haven't really ever latched on to a college team or anything. I don't have any favorites right now. I'm really wide open. We moved down here from Canada when I was in the ninth grade, and I got introduced to southern football. It's pretty intense here," said Brown with a laugh.

Brown's Bob Jones team went 5-5 last season, and with him on the offensive and defensive lines this year, his team has a chance to make a run at the playoffs. He plays mostly defensive end in high school, but with his current size, he is likely to grow into a defensive tackle.
