Second look tweaks stats for Lee, LSU

After a review of the game film, the Tigers senior quarterback is credited with 23 more passing yards and a third TD toss

LSU’s statistics from Saturday’s game were tweaked a bit after a film review and consultation with the Tennessee media relations staff.

The changes include:

--- Odell Beckham Jr.’s 8-yard run in the first quarter was changed to an 8-yard pass from Jarrett Lee.

--- Beckham’s 1-yard run in the second quarter was also altered to a pass from Lee.

--- And Russell Shepard’s 14-yard touchdown play in the closing minutes was changed from a run to pass from Lee.

All three plays were swing passes to the flats there were initially – and immediately – ruled laterals instead of forward passes.

The impact on Lee’s stats changed his final line to 13-of-17 for 138 yards and three touchdowns, the last number matching a career-high he also achieved earlier this season at West Virginia.
