Recruiting glance: Arkansas game visitors's No. 1 QB Gunner Kiel headlined the visitor list for Friday's LSU game against Arkansas.

  • The biggest visitor to make the trip in for the game was five-star quarterback Gunner Kiel – ranked by as the No. 1 QB in the country.

    Kiel, a Columbus, Ind., native, was originally committed to Indiana but decided to reopen his process in late October.

    Kiel visited Notre Dame for its game against USC, and then took in an unofficial trip to Vanderbilt earlier this week. He was joined in Baton Rouge by his mother and father, though the family elected to pay their way to Baton Rouge and save Gunner's official visit for later in his recruitment process.

  • Former Redemptorist running back Jeremy Hill was in Tiger Stadium for an unofficial visit. Hill also attended LSU's game at Alabama on Nov. 5.

    Hill was set to sign with the Tigers in 2011, but legal trouble off the field forced the then senior to finish the year out being home-schooled.

    LSU expects to bring Hill back into the fold for the 2012 class, and the Baton Rouge native could arrive to campus as early as January.

  • 2014 Beaumont, Texas standout defensive back Tony Brown made his second trip to Tiger Stadium in the past month.

    Brown worked out at LSU's camp this summer, and he has maintained contact with members of the staff since.

    The 6-foot, 175-pound sophomore has gone on record that the Tigers are a team to beat for his services in two seasons.

  • 2014 St. Augustine running back Leonard Fournette made the drive over from New Orleans with members of his high school coaching staff.

    Fournette, who is being recruited by Tigers' running backs coach Frank Wilson, has already picked up verbal offers from the likes of LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Florida State.

    Other names of note in attendance: CB Derrick Raymond (2012 LSU commit – East Jefferson), TE Deandre Skinner (2013 – Patterson), ATH Jeryl Brazil (2013 LSU commit – Loranger), WR Shelby Christy (2013 – Dutchtown), ATH Donald Gage (2013 – Redemptorist).
