  • South Carolina leads the series 14-11 after winning three of the last four games, including a 67-58 decision in Columbia in 2010.
  • Storm Warren

    Hickey has scored in double digits 12 times in his freshman season and has recorded 11 games with 5 or more assists. He has done both six times. He was 0-for-5 from 3-point range against Mississippi State on Tuesday, his most misses in a game without hitting one.
  • Warren has 113 steals and 113 blocked shots in his career. He also notched the 13th double-double of his career (second this season) against Mississippi State on Tuesday with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
  • LSU is shooting 79.5% (93-of-117) from the free-throw line in the last 5 minutes of games this season, slightly better in 11 SEC games – 40-of-50 for 80%.
  • Ralston Turner’s six made field goals Tuesday matches his season high. He was 6-of-13 vs. the Bulldogs and his 6-of-10 against Marquette on Dec. 19.
  • In five of the last nine games, Warren has played at least 20 minutes and in four of those he has scored in double digits.
  • The first half of South Carolina’s SEC slate included two games each with Kentucky and Florida and one vs. Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks hung close in the first four  before getting blown out 86-52 by the No. 1-ranked Wildcats.
  • USC has played four games this season against teams ranked either No. 1 or 2: North Carolina on Nov. 25, Ohio State on Dec. 17, Kentucky on Jan. 7 and the Wildcats again on Feb. 4.

    Cooke and Ellington scored 32 of Carolina’s 64 points vs. LSU last season.
  • In the last four games, Cooke’s scoring average has dipped to 9.4 points a contest and he was held under double digits in back-to-back games for the first time all season by Kentucky and Tennessee.
