After a day with LSU's first-year wide receivers coach Adam Henry, Diarse decided took a big step in his recruitment process.
"I committed (to LSU)," Diarse said. "I feel great about it."
Diarse, a quarterback at Neville, projects as a wide receiver or cornerback at the college level.
He is tabbed as a four-star prospect and the No. 12 safety in the country.
Diarse gives LSU six verbal pledges, all from Louisiana, for the class of 2013.
