LSU will play at Georgia in 2013

The SEC schedule came out Thursday, and LSU learned it will play a September game in Athens in 2013. See the rest of the Tigers' schedule inside.

The Southeastern Conference released its 2013 football conference schedules for all 14 member institutions Thursday.

The announcement confirmed rumors circling all morning that LSU would play at Georgia for the team's eighth conference game of the season.

LSU will indeed travel to play between the hedges next season, squaring off with the Dawgs on Sept. 28.

In other scheduling news, Arkansas will remain LSU's Thanksgiving-weekend opponent for at least one more year despite rumors Texas A&M would take over that role soon.

The Aggies may eventually slide into the position to be the Tigers' final regular-season game, but it is Arkansas, on Nov. 30 (a Saturday), which takes the honors again in 2013. Texas A&M visits Baton Rouge the week prior, giving LSU its final two contests at home.
