Louisiana State Semifinals

The Louisiana state playoffs have advanced to the semifinals, and there are still plenty of LSU commits and prospects in action. Get a rundown of who plays where below.

We're now one week away from the state championship games, with 20 teams still in contention to raise the trophy in The Dome. After tonight, only 10 will remain as the championship matchups will finally be decided.

I'll be heading west Friday to catch Class 5A No. 2 Barbe host No. 3 West Monroe in Lake Charles. 2013 LSU commit Desean Smith will showcase his talents along with teammate and 2014 prospect Trey Quinn. Cameron Robinson, the No. 1 OT in the country for 2014 will hope to help lead his team to the state championship.

Austin Cooper will head north to take in No. 22 East Feliciana's Cinderella run to The Dome. Kendell Beckwith, LSU's No. 1 remaining target in the 2013 class, will try and help carry his team for one more victory with hopes of getting to New Orleans next week.
