UNDER-ARMOUR – 4 p.m. CT - ESPN
1. Kendell Beckwith's Announcement
LSU fans will finally learn the result of the most anticipated announcement of the 2013 class. Beckwith will make public his decision between LSU and Alabama. The No. 1 remaining target for LSU's 2013 class, fans will be eagerly awaiting his choice. Beckwith told Scout earlier this week that he made up his mind after taking an official visit to Alabama in December. Most feel that Beckwith will opt to stay close to him and select LSU over the Crimson Tide.
2. Maquedius Bain and Greg Gilmore Playing Together
Two of LSU's most recent additions to the 2013 class will play next to each other on the Black team defensive line. The two players have already developed some chemistry, as evidenced in this video, and LSU fans will get a glimpse into the future of LSU's defensive line when these two take the field together.
3. Jeryl Brazil's Athleticism
Brazil's speed has never been a question. The fastest kid in Louisiana put on a show winning the Skills Competition on Wednesday. Expected to play cornerback on the next level, Brazil will get his first real test going up against some of the top wide receivers in the nation. Most at UA practices have raved about his physical talent and have been pleasantly surprised by his ability in the secondary.
4. LSU's Remaining Uncommitted Targets
LSU fans will also be able to get a glimpse at why guys like Robert Nkemdiche and Priest Willis rank so high on everyone's wish lists. Nkemdiche, who listed LSU and Ole Miss as his top two, has lived up to the billing as the No. 1 prospect during practices. Willis, the top CB in the nation, has LSU among his leaders and has fans feeling optimistic after his official visit to Baton Rouge in December. Former Auburn commit Reuben Foster will also grab viewers' attention as LSU fans hope he too winds up in Baton Rouge. Watching these three play in the UA game will only make LSU fans' mouths water even more.
5. Ethan Pocic: The Future at OT?
Only a few days before Pocic enrolls at LSU, he will give fans one more glimpse at what he can do amongst high school competition. He's been one of the offensive linemen to stand out to those in attendance. LSU's No. 1 OL recruit for the 2013 class could be the future at offensive tackle, and Tiger fans will see why in the UA game.
SEMPER-FI – 8 p.m. CT - NFL Network
1. Christian Lacouture's Versatility
Lacouture has been the talk of the Semper-Fi practices, emerging as one of the top defensive linemen out west. He's bulked up to 275 pounds and has shown elite ability at both defensive end and tackle during practices. He's one of the reasons LSU fans can be so optimistic about this year's DL class, and he should put on a show tonight.
2. Can Jeremy Cutrer Emerge?
LSU's lone safety commit in the 2013 class hasn't really stood out to those at Semper-Fi practices this week. He should get his opportunity during the game though, which would come as a welcome sight to LSU fans. With the news that Eric Reid is in fact leaving for the NFL, the Tigers will need some depth at safety in the future, and many are hoping Cutrer can provide that. Assuming he also gets his grades in order, a shining performance tonight would help alleviate some concerns for the future of the safety position.
3. January's Official Visitors
LSU fans will be able to get a glimpse of two players that have scheduled official visits to Baton Rouge in the next few weeks. Tashawn Bower and David Kamara will each play for the East team tonight, and will give fans an idea of why the coaching staff is still pressing for them. Bower, a soft Auburn commit, will make his visit Jan. 25. Kamara, a former Clemson commit, will come Jan. 11.
