OMAHA, Neb. — LSU 2B JaCoby Jones will be in the starting lineup Sunday despite suffering from an illness the last couple days, according to Paul Mainieri.
Mainieri told the media at practice Saturday that Jones was iffy for the College World Series opener, but according to a text message from the LSU coach, Jones is good to go. He will be in the starting lineup which is big for LSU considering how well he played in the Super Regional.
