LSU basketball signee Jordan Mickey has been ruled ineligible by the NCAA for the 2013-14 season, a source has confirmed to TSD.
Mickey and Prime Prep teammate Karviar Shepard, who signed with TCU, have both been declared ineligible. This likely has to do with the questionable standing of Prime Prep, a charter school recently begun by Deion Sanders, with the NCAA.
An appeals process is already in the works on behalf of Mickey.
