LSU landed a pair of 2015 commitments Monday when RB Nicholas Brossette and DB Xavier Lewis made their pledges.

Brossette ranks as the top prospect in Louisiana for the 2015 class and the No. 8 RB in the country. Though Lewis didn't crack the Top 300 in Scout's initial 2015 rankings, he is one of the state's more promising DBs.

This duo joins Kevin Toliver, the No. 1 CB in the country, as members of LSU's 2015 class.

Brossette has been one of the staff's top priorities for the junior class, landing the first in-state offer to go out from the Tigers. LSU continues its pipeline from University Lab after also getting a commitment from Brossette's teammate, 2014 OL Garrett Brumfield.

Lewis picked up his offer after working out during July's camp. He mentioned LSU as his favorite school throughout the process, and it would appear he didn't have to take much time to pull the trigger.
