Monday Recruiting Tidbits

With the regular season behind us, the recruiting season is really starting to heat up. LSU is looking forward to a big weekend for official visits and the coaches will be on the road during the week to check in on some of their top prospects.

LSU will kick off its first post-regular season recruiting weekend with a bang as the staff is expected to host at least four official visitors.

Commits Brandon Harris and Edward Paris will accompany Tony Brown and Jamal Adams for official visits this weekend, which will afford the coaches a tremendous opportunity to reel in Adams and Brown, two of their top remaining DB targets.

Scout's Erin Hartigan spoke with Adams recently, and he mentioned that LSU is now in his final four. For more notes on the official visits expected for this weekend, check out the thread on the TSD Message Board by clicking the link below.

LSU isn't waiting for the weekend to hit the recruiting trail hard. The coaches are making their way around the country during the week for in-home visits with some top targets.

Since yesterday, the first day coaches were able to make in-homes, LSU has already seen Laurence Jones — who committed to Alabama today — and Tony Brown, with Garrett Brumfield, William Clapp and Clifton Garrett getting visits tonight.

TE target Frank Iheanacho and DL target Kentavius Street will host LSU coaches for in-home visits later this week. Those are two of LSU's bigger out-of-state targets, and the Tigers would really like to make favorable impressions with both prospects.

For more on how important these in-home visits will be for Iheanacho and Street, check out the thread on the TSD Message Board by clicking the link below.
