Whether that's the one he'll don remains to be seen.
Jackson announced Tuesday night that USC, Florida, LSU and UCLA are his four finalists. He eliminated Tennessee and Oklahoma from contention. He will announce at 1:05 p.m. CST on Feb. 5.
Jackson still has one official visit remaining, and he has said that either Florida or USC will receive it. Most feel that will possibly give an indication as to where he's leaning, as the Gators and Trojans are the assumed leaders at this point.
But LSU doesn't feel out of the running and they've spent plenty of effort trying to stay in the race. Coaches met with both him in California and his parents in Illinois last week and were expected to meet with Jackson again Tuesday.
Adoree Jackson took his official visit to Baton Rouge back in October when the Tigers played Florida. He gave the trip rave reviews at the time, but most of the buzz has shifted elsewhere in recent months.
That being said, there aren't many that can say with certainty who has an edge in Jackson's recruitment. Anything does seem possible down the stretch.
