LSU scored its second home win of the week Saturday with an 88-74 victory over Arkansas. Following the game TSD's Ben Love caught up with a trio of Tigers, including Jarell Martin, and head coach Johnny Jones. The latest from the LSU locker room is inside.

LSU (14-6, 5-3) finished its two-game home-stand this week at 2-0 after dusting off Arkansas (13-8, 2-6) by the final of 88-74 in the PMAC Saturday.

After the win TSD publisher Ben Love caught up with a trio of Tiger players, including freshmen Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey and junior Johnny O'Bryant, as well as head coach Johnny Jones.

Below are HD videos with Jones, Mickey and O'Bryant, who spoke to LSU dominating the paint area and not letting down following a landmark win over Kentucky on Tuesday.

Even further below is ink from Martin, who gave a glimpse behind the scenes on LSU's transition to a 2-3 zone.

"It's been helpful for us the last two games since we're very long and athletic. It's helped us a lot ... I didn't know we were going to go into the zone for the Kentucky game, but we did go over it a little at practice. I wasn't expecting it. But when we came out, coach said ‘We're going to go into the zone and try it and give it a little look.' It started off working, so we've just stayed in it."
- On the decision for the team to switch to zone

"I would say that. He's happy about it, though, because we're getting stops and playing much better defense in the zone."
- On if he thinks it's been hard for Jones, who prefers man defense

"With the energy level he brings and his aggressiveness at the top, he frustrates those guys at the top. He help us a lot."
- On the difference Shavon Coleman makes atop the zone

"I try to use my length to contest shots and mess them up, get them off their rhythm."
- On what his role is in the zone
