After the scrimmage inside Tiger Stadium, Dural spoke with reporters about catching passes from Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings as well as what the receiving corps has to do to improve over the summer.
All that and more is below in TSD's HD video, followed by a full transcript of the interview.
Ben Love: You had a big effort today with a couple of touchdown catches. How did each of those quarterbacks look throwing to you?
Travin Dural: They looked good. We kinda started off a little shaky, but we got it together and they started to give us some good balls.
BL: The way that the new guy Brandon Harris was able to throw the deep ball, is that a surprise to you from what you've seen this spring?
TD: It isn't a surprise. He came in and everybody said he had a strong arm, and I thought he proved it today and throughout spring practice.
Question: Did you see him get more comfortable and loose? I think he fumbled the first snap and looked a little awkward early, but then he obviously heated up.
TD: I'm thinking it's because it was a new stage for him, and being out here in front of all these people he was a little nervous. But once he got his feet wet he calmed down and showed what he could do.
Question: You told me this week that it started off a little shaky this spring and that you all [the receivers] expected that. What's the biggest thing for you guys to work on this summer?
TD: Timing. We've got to get our timing and our depth, just being consistent. We'll have a good day then a bad day, or we'll have two good days then two bad days. So we've got to work on our timing and just being consistent with everything.
