The Tigers, which finished 20-14 while advancing to the second round of the NIT this past season, were not a part of the inaugural SEC/Big 12 Challenge in 2013.
In total there are 10 games in the 2014 Challenge. Here is the complete schedule (times/TV still to be determined).
The Big 12 prevailed in last year's debut Challenge, 7-3, with Alabama, Missouri and Florida providing the SEC's only victories (over Texas Tech, West Virginia and Kansas, respectively).
LSU's other non-conference games currently on the books include home dates with Massachusetts and Texas Tech, a road contest and UAB and a trip to the Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam, a tournament field which includes Clemson, Nevada and Seton Hall.
It is believed the Tigers, entering year three under head coach Johnny Jones, are seeking an additional non-conference game or two as part of home-and-home deals.
