The action was far from over for former LSU gridiron standouts when the 2014 NFL Draft concluded its seventh round. Come inside to see where four Tigers landed via free agent signings.
After LSU put nine players into the 2014 NFL Draft, the high-water mark around the nation, momentum kept going for former Tigers crashing the league.
Four players on the 2013 edition of the Bayou Bengals inked free agent deals early Saturday evening.
On the offensive side of the ball, WR Kadron Boone agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he'll try to make a squad that no longer has DeSean Jackson in the receiving corps.
FB J.C. Copeland originally was linked with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he could've possibly reunited with LSU backfield mate Jeremy Hill (a second-round selection), but ultimately the battering ram from LaGrange, Ga., signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Tigers also had two defensive players sign deals as undrafted free agents - DT Anthony Johnson and S Craig Loston, both five-star recruits when they entered LSU in 2011 and 2009, respectively.
Johnson was scooped up by the Miami Dolphins, which drafted fellow member of "The Fam," WR Jarvis Landry, in the third round Friday night. Loston signed in the AFC, too, landing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here are two HD video interviews I shot with Copeland and Johnson during the NFL Scouting Combine in February.
