LSU June Camp: Day 1 Report

The LSU coaches hosted their first high school camp of the summer on Sunday, and TSD has the full report with a photo gallery of the top prospects.

Camp season at LSU officially started this week with the Tigers hosting their first high school session of the summer on Sunday.

The camp attracted some of the state's top prospects like LSU commits Stephen Sullivan and Derrius Guice. Also in attendance was Alabama commit Daylon Charlot, who's under heavy consideration for an offer from the Tigers. He had several battles with Dutchtown's Justin Reid, younger brother of former LSU safety Eric Reid.

One of the nation's fast-rising tight ends, Jalen Harris (Montgomery, Ala.) made the trip down and was one of the day's standouts. Looking back at the in-state crop, there were a couple of young quarterbacks in St. James' Lowell Narcisse and Redemptorist's Michael Williams that showed real promise.

Look through the photo gallery below for some images of Sunday's top prospects. Premium subscribers can get more notes and observations from Sunday's camp session by accessing the TSD Message Board, which is linked below.
