LSU June Camp: Day 2 Report

LSU's first high school camp of the summer continued Monday with even more top prospects showing out. TSD has the complete report with a photo gallery of the big-time players.

LSU's first high school camp of the summer continued to its second day Monday as even more top prospects flocked to the Tigers' campus to show out in front of the coaches.

After Day 1 was highlighted by guys like Derrius Guice, Daylon Charlot and Justin Reid, even more talent showed up for the second day, particularly from the Class of 2016.

LSU commit Stephen Sullivan performed for the second straight day, and he was joined about another top rising sophomore in Michael Divinity (John Ehret). Also in the 2016 class were Eric Monroe, a top safety from Texas, and J.P. Urquidez, a four-star OT from the East Coast.

In addition to Urquidez, two other big names across the offensive line were in attendance — Tyler Higby and Matt Womack, both of whom has LSU offers. They were countered by a trio of big-time 2016 defensive linemen in Andre Anthony (Miller-McCoy), Jonathan Marshall (Shepherd, Texas) and Shane Simmons (Hyattsville, Md.)
