We'll provide the notes below, but also be sure to join in on the discussion on the TSD Message Board to provide your take on LSU recruiting.
JETER ARRIVES ON CAMPUS
Things have moved extremely fast for former Kilgore College TE Colin Jeter. A little more than a week ago, he didn't have a scholarship offer from a major college. Now he's officially an LSU Tiger.
After landing an offer from LSU at their postgrad camp last Saturday, June 7, Jeter committed to the Tigers two days later. By Thursday, he was already on campus.
Jeter officially moved to Baton Rouge on Thursday to begin taking summer classes at LSU. He officially joins the roster as the 25th signee of the 2014 signing class, and the 23rd to make it to campus. He'll be LSU's sixth scholarship TE once fall camp opens in August, and he'll have three seasons left of eligibility.
Jeter said he's still in the process of being cleared by the training staff, but he expects no holdups in that process. Once that's complete, he'll receive his jersey number and will officially be added to the LSU roster.
TSD caught up with Jeter following his commitment last week. Be sure to read that interview for more on LSU's newest tight end.
The rest of the 2014 signing class should be on campus by the end of the summer. Glendale CC OT Jevonte Domond expects to complete his necessary credits in time to enroll for the fall. Four-star DT Travonte Valentine completed his final high school semester on Friday, and his coach sent his complete transcript to the NCAA on Monday. Valentine is expected to arrive in Baton Rouge by July.
HARRIS TRIMS LIST TO FIVE
The most recent tight end to receive an offer from LSU has the Tigers in his top five. Jalen Harris (Montgomery, Ala. | St. James) trimmed his list to five schools Sunday. LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Miami and Vanderbilt made the cut.

Harris picked up an offer from the Tigers after a standout performance at camp last week. He was one of the best pass-catchers in attendance for the three-day camp, regardless of position, and he received plenty of attention from the LSU coaches.
TE coach Steve Ensminger left a big impression on Harris, but the Tigers will have plenty of competition, particularly from the in-state powers.
That LSU offer was just one of several big ones Harris received over the last two weeks, as both Alabama and Auburn offered following his performance at their respective camps. Auburn seems to be the team to beat, as they were a school he visited numerous times over the last two years, even without an official offer from the Tigers on the Plains.
Harris told Scout's Jason Caldwell he won't put off making a final decision, and he expects to make a commitment by the start of his senior season.
LSU's QB CLASS SEEMS COMPLETE
When 2015 QB Justin McMillan committed to LSU last week, he told the coaches they didn't need to recruit anymore quarterbacks in his class. And it would appear that they aren't.
Four-star QB Blake Barnett had originally scheduled a visit to LSU for Friday. Fresh off a decommitment from Notre Dame, Barnett had started to make the rounds at some schools that had continued to show interest in him. LSU was one of those programs, and it was expected for them to offer once he made it to campus.
But Cam Cameron saw enough from McMillan during his performance at camp to warrant an offer, and the three-star prospect made sure to commit on the spot. That essentially erased the need for Barnett, and he promptly canceled his visit to LSU, instead spending two days at Alabama with another trip to Oregon expected soon.
LSU is more than happy to have McMillan on board for the 2015 class, and with Feleipe Franks committed for 2016, Cameron's QB cupboards are filling up nicely. It's not out of the question for the Tigers to possibly add another QB in the 2016 class, but it does seem certain that LSU's finished recruiting quarterbacks for this year's group.
