Wealth of backfield talent camping at LSU

In-state backfield stars were out in full force Thursday at LSU Elite Camp. Come inside for more on the players in attendance as well as videos of the backs in action on the Ponderosa.

A lot of the fireworks at LSU's 2014 Elite Camp will begin Friday with the premier quarterbacks taking center stage, but the big storyline Thursday was the embarrassment of backfield riches on hand and working out for recruiting coordinator and position coach Frank Wilson.

Among those on hand were 2015 LSU commitments Nicholas Brossette (No. 19 RB) and Derrius Guice (No. 12 RB), fullback pledge David Ducre (one of nation's top FBs), 2016 target Devin White (No. 6 RB, 2016) and 2017 commit Dylan Moses (five-star prospect).

Check out my Twitter link below for videos of each of these players being put through their paces in drills by Wilson. Guice has a few problems remembering to spin in one clip while Moses shows you in the other just how explosive he is for a player his age that's already that size.

The Tigers already have an offer out to White, who has a chance to complete the dream Louisiana backfield over the next couple of recruiting cycles for LSU.

With Terrence Magee and Kenny Hilliard on their last years of eligibility in 2014, the Bayou Bengals will look to continue stocking the cupboard at running back.

Stay tuned to TSD for much more coverage of LSU's Elite Camp.
