LSU came together as a full team Friday for the first time this fall, also donning full pads to ramp up the physicality.
After the always exciting Big Cat and Goalline Tackling drills, the team broke into individual position drills. TSD has the full report from both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
Offensively, the two quarterbacks continue to battle for the starting nod, working side-by-side in double barrel passing drills. There were a couple of big names missing from that half of practice though, causing a bit of shakeup at wide receiver and along the offensive line.
The defense also dealt with a handful of absences, one on each level. With the team in full pads, that really brought up the intensity on the defensive side and John Chavis could definitely be heard. Here's the full report from that side of the ball.
Finally TSD has a quartet of practice videos from this morning, including two Big Cat clips and the two quarterbacks throwing side by side.
