Louisiana Friday Night Lights: Week 2

This week's high school football schedule of LSU commits and Louisiana targets.

Another week of Louisiana high school football is already underway, with the bulk of the weekend’s action happening Friday night.

It’s an exciting weekend in the state as some of Louisiana’s premier programs face out-of-state competition. The first of several such games was Thursday night in Shreveport between Calvary Baptist and Midland (Texas) Christian. Shea Patterson and the Cavaliers snapped Midland’s 27-game winning streak with a 43-17 victory.

Patterson led the charge, going 11-for-16 for 175 yards with four passing touchdowns and another on the ground. Patterson, the nation’s No. 1 2016 QB, has now thrown eight touchdown passes through two games.

Plenty other LSU targets will be in action throughout Friday and into Saturday. Below is the complete schedule of prospects with LSU offers and where they’ll play.

TSD’s Hunter Paniagua plans to be at University Lab to see a pair of LSU commits to face the Kittens from Southern Lab.
