Florida commit schedules visit to LSU

Four-star LB Adonis Thomas, a Florida commit, has scheduled an official visit to LSU

Four-star Florida commit Adonis Thomas has scheduled an official visit to LSU, according to Scout's Chad Simmons.

Thomas, the No. 22 outside linebacker in the country, plans to be in Baton Rouge on Dec. 5 to see what the Tigers have to offer. LSU has long been on Thomas' offer list, but the Tigers weren't considered much of a contender up until his decision to commit to Florida.

Thomas made that decision on Aug. 1, choosing the Gators over Alabama. Though he remains committed to Florida, he at least wants to take his officials to ensure he made the right decision.

He'll also reportedly take official visits to Alabama and Oregon before signing.

The Tigers don't yet have a linebacker committed in the 2015 class and have not offered any in-state prospects at that position. Some out-of-state LB targets are Porter Gustin and Leo Lewis.
