But Leonard Fournette and Malachi Dupre did enough against New Mexico State on Saturday to warrant a postgame appearance.
Fournette led the Tigers in rushing yards for the fourth time this season. He set a career-high with 122 rushing yards, the first time he's eclipsed the 100-yard mark. He also scored twice, giving him four for the season. In the video below, you'll hear him discuss his performance and talk about how he's improved through the season.
Dupre has grown into a favorite target for Brandon Harris. All four of Dupre's career touchdowns have come from his fellow freshman. On Saturday, he added one to his total on a 27-yard throw from Harris. He finished the game as LSU's leading receiver with 54 yards on three catches. He discusses his performance in the below audio.
