LSU senior safety Ronald Martin, preparing to play his second career game at Auburn, referred to Jordan-Hare Stadium as "Death Valley on the road." What do you think of the War Eagles' home atmosphere?
Without question Jordan-Hare Stadium is among the most raucous road venues in the SEC. Many a visiting team has been spit out the other side of Auburn's home digs with a ringing in its ears and a tally in the loss column.
But LSU senior safety Ronald Martin, in advance of the Bayou Bengals' game at No. 5 Auburn Saturday night, paid perhaps the ultimate compliment to the environment when he likened it to Tiger Stadium.
"It's just like Death Valley on the road," said Martin. "That's what I always tell the (young) guys."
