McMillan, Lodge reschedule LSU officials

The Cedar Hill (Texas) duo of Justin McMillan and DaMarkus Lodge have pushed their LSU official visits back a week to attend the Ole Miss game on Oct. 25

LSU quarterback commit Justin McMillan and his five-star wide receiver DaMarkus Lodge have rescheduled their official visits to LSU.

The Cedar Hill (Texas) duo originally planned to come to Baton Rouge this weekend for the Kentucky game. Instead they will visit next week when the Tigers play Ole Miss.

Those two will play on an ESPN-televised game next week on Thursday night, which will allow them to spend the entire weekend in Baton Rouge. They will fly down that Friday morning and stay until Sunday.

McMillan remains very solid in his commitment to the Tigers, and that's helping LSU's chances with Lodge. The former Texas A&M commit reentered the recruiting world on Sept. 18, and soon after scheduled his visit to LSU. He's already taken visits to USC and Ole Miss since reopening his recruitment.

Baylor is another school that's picked up a lot of momentum since he dropped his pledge to the Aggies.

LSU hopes his visit to Baton Rouge will increase their chances of landing the nation's No. 3 wide receiver. Also having McMillan aid in the recruiting efforts should help those odds as well.
