LSU president shoots in three-point contest

F. King Alexander, president of the LSU system, showed the range Friday night at LSU's Bayou Madness event. Watch Alexander and his lefty stroke make their way around the arc.

LeBron wasn't in the building Friday night, but that doesn't mean the second annual Bayou Madness event for the men's and women's basketball programs at LSU was without a King.

F. King Alexander, president of the LSU system, not only showed his face to the crowd at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, he took on the winner of the three-point contest between select Tiger and Lady Tiger players.

Alexander fell narrowly to junior Keith Hornsby, but the lefty acquitted himself well, connecting on 10 of 25 attempts.

Forty percent will get it done at any level.

Watch TSD's video below of Alexander going through the paces at all five stops along the three-point arc.
